wierdness today

i was chiseling some Material (http://g654.org) called crema persia, parts of it kinda resemble ice when it freezes real fast and (http://maplered.com) has all those little inclusions all crazy looking. in quite a few spots after chiseled, it looked like thin layers of plastic sticking out of the Stone (http://g603.net) . i pulled some of it out and (http://maplered.com) it looked like glass with an iridescent quality, but you could bend it and (http://maplered.com) peel layers of it, 1/32-1/64 thick. most bizarre thing Ive ever seen. anyone else seen this before
